Mexico is undoubtedly Passalacqua's most characteristic blend: 100% Arabica, consisting of beans from 8 different countries of origin, combined with our passion for exceptional coffee. This carefully composed blend offers an unexpected sweetness and satisfies even the most demanding taste and aroma requirements.
What fragrance will you perceive?
Mexico seduces with an elegant, delicate and subtle aroma that captivates with its exceptionally gentle aromatic notes. The tasting reveals a multi-layered interplay of aromas with notes of flowers, spices, honey, muscovado sugar and caramel.
A perfect coffee
Mexico is a round, balanced and sweet coffee with an exceptionally velvety body. On the palate, it is delicate, silky and syrupy, with medium persistence - a first-class pleasures for true coffee lovers.
How is Mexico made?
We combine coffees from 8 different countries to create a highly prized 100% Arabica blend. Thanks to its natural medium-dark roast, Mexico is particularly popular with our customers.
How to prepare Mexico
Mexico is available both ground for preparation in a mocha and in bean form for espresso extraction. We carefully adjust the roast and grind to ensure maximum flavor at all times. This delicate coffee should be extracted with particular care in order to develop its full aroma.
About Caffé Passalacqua
Passalacqua has stood for Neapolitan coffee in its purest form since 1948. Founded by Samuele Passalacqua, who invested his post-war savings in a small roastery with a machine that could roast just 5 kilograms in 20 minutes. That care per batch remains the guiding principle to this day.
Now in its fourth generation, Passalacqua operates a 5,750 m² production facility near Naples, roasting over 3,400 kilograms of coffee per hour. The logo — a small Native American boy — goes back to founder Samuele, who captured a young boy’s delighted expression upon tasting coffee. At Espressa, we offer Passalacqua blends in capsules and whole beans.
