Product description
The Borbone Miscela Blu coffee pods embody the Italian espresso tradition from Naples and are considered the brand's most popular blend in Switzerland. This balanced composition combines 70% Arabica with 30% Robusta for a medium-strong character with full-bodied crema.
The aroma profile shows a harmonious balance between the mild sweetness of the Arabica beans and the robust fullness of the Robusta content. In the cup, slightly fruity notes develop with hints of dark chocolate and roasted hazelnuts, accompanied by a subtle caramel sweetness and a medium body.
The carefully selected beans are refined using traditional Italian roasting methods, with an intensity level of moderate 7 out of 13. This balanced roasting preserves the characteristic aromas of both bean varieties and ensures a stable, golden-brown crema.
As an E.S.E. pod with 44 mm diameter, we recommend preparation as a classic espresso (40ml) at 90-95°C water temperature. The medium-strong base is excellent for cappuccino or caffè latte, as it retains its aromatic complexity even with milk.
