Caffè Borbone Blu gets all this from its 70% Robusta and 30% Arabica content. The compostable E.S.E pods are suitable for all E.S.E coffee machines with a diameter of 44mm and are ideal for the office and home. This coffee blend has the same texture as the espresso blend, but the coffee powder for this blend is not ground and pressed as finely as the espresso blend, resulting in a wonderful coffee lungo. This blend is also known as "Macina 40".

Caffè Borbone was founded in Naples in the 1990s and is today among Italy's leading roasters. The city is considered the capital of espresso – a tradition Borbone continues to this day, with classic roasting recipes and modern processing.

Which blend and which system?
The four blends
Miscela Nera is the strongest: dark roast, intense flavour. Miscela Blu is the classic – medium strength, full crema and around 70 % Robusta. Don Carlo Miscela Rossa delivers a powerful espresso with a long finish. Miscela Oro is the smoothest: lighter crema, less body.
Plus the Selection line with Crema Superiore – rich and soft at medium intensity – and a 100 % Arabica for milder cups.
