Experience the strong and powerful espresso from the E.S.E. pods La Semeuse Don Marco, which perfectly captures the typical Italian flavour. The unique blend of 20% Robusta and 80% Arabica beans from the highlands of Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and the Ivory Coast guarantees an incomparable flavour experience. The renowned La Semeuse roasting plant in La Chaux-de-Fonds refines these coffee pods and all other varieties at over 1,000 metres above sea level, allowing the special air pressure conditions during roasting to develop a special aroma.
About La Semeuse

La Semeuse was founded in 1900 by Marc Bloch in La Chaux-de-Fonds and is one of the oldest Swiss coffee roasters. When Bloch fell in 1916, his wife Hortense took over and continued to grow the roastery. Since 2015 the company has been run by the Bihler family from Neuchâtel.

What sets La Semeuse apart: roasting takes place at 1,000 metres altitude in the Swiss Jura. The lower air pressure allows roasting at temperatures between 210 and 213 °C — the patented «High Roasting» process preserves the beans and develops fine, complex aromas. La Semeuse coffee is suited for espresso, caffè crème and filter coffee. At Espressa, we offer La Semeuse in whole beans and capsules.
