About Lavazza A modo Mio

Lavazza A Modo Mio — Italian for "my way" — is Lavazza's home capsule system, introduced in 2007 by the Turin-based family company with over 130 years of roasting experience. Each capsule contains approximately 7.5 grams of freshly ground coffee, individually sealed in a protective atmosphere. The machines operate at up to 15 bar brewing pressure, extracting coffee with the crema and intensity of an Italian bar espresso. All A Modo Mio capsules are now industrially compostable — TÜV Austria certified to EN 13432, with a decomposition time of 90 days. The current machine generation, such as the Jolie Evo, uses up to 36% recycled plastic and plastic-free packaging.

The range extends from intense espresso blends to lungo options and the Tierra! line, which is produced CO2-neutral and supports sustainability projects in growing regions. A Modo Mio is Italy's best-selling capsule system in the mid-price segment and is also used as a compatible format by other roasters beyond the original capsules.
