The Lavazza A Modo Mio Intenso capsules embody the Italian espresso tradition in its most powerful form – a composition of South American Arabicas and Asian as well as African Robustas with an intensity level of 13 out of 13.
The flavor profile unfolds a full-bodied, balanced espresso with pronounced cocoa and spice notes. The sensory analysis shows a full body with robust aroma, where the spicy nuances of coconut and oriental spices create a long-lasting, characteristic aftertaste.
This blend combines carefully selected Arabicas from Brazil and India with strong Robustas from Southeast Asia and Africa. The medium roast preserves the natural aromas of the beans while developing the intense flavor depth that is characteristic of Italian espressos.
We recommend preparation as a classic espresso with 40ml for the full aroma profile or as an intense ristretto with 25ml for maximum concentration. Due to the robust base, this blend is also excellent for milk beverages such as cappuccino or caffè latte.

About Lavazza A modo Mio
Lavazza A Modo Mio — Italian for "my way" — is Lavazza's home capsule system, introduced in 2007 by the Turin-based family company with over 130 years of roasting experience. Each capsule contains approximately 7.5 grams of freshly ground coffee, individually sealed in a protective atmosphere. The machines operate at up to 15 bar brewing pressure, extracting coffee with the crema and intensity of an Italian bar espresso. All A Modo Mio capsules are now industrially compostable — TÜV Austria certified to EN 13432, with a decomposition time of 90 days. The current machine generation, such as the Jolie Evo, uses up to 36% recycled plastic and plastic-free packaging.
The range extends from intense espresso blends to lungo options and the Tierra! line, which is produced CO2-neutral and supports sustainability projects in growing regions. A Modo Mio is Italy's best-selling capsule system in the mid-price segment and is also used as a compatible format by other roasters beyond the original capsules.
