Product description
The Lavazza Gran Espresso embodies Italian gastronomy tradition as a powerful blend specifically developed for professional use in fully automatic coffee machines. This gastro line combines the strength of an espresso with the versatility for longer coffee beverages.
The flavour is dominated by intense notes of dark chocolate and warm spices, creating a full-bodied character with medium acidity and a long-lasting, spicy-chocolatey aftertaste. The balanced composition reveals its characteristic intensity both as a short espresso and as an extended coffee.
The blend combines high-quality Arabica beans from Brazil and Honduras with African Robusta beans, which lend the composition its typical spice notes. The traditional drum roasting in Piedmont gives the beans their medium intensity level and perfect balance.
We recommend these beans for fully automatic coffee machines with large bean containers – ideal for daily enjoyment of espresso (25ml), café crème (120ml) or cappuccino. The consistent extraction guarantees constant quality with every preparation.
The 1kg pack of Lavazza Gran Espresso coffee beans is perfect for gastronomy businesses and coffee lovers. As a Swiss coffee specialist, espressa.ch delivers this gastro quality freshly roasted within 1-2 working days.
About Lavazza
Lavazza has shaped Italian coffee culture like no other brand. Founded in 1895 by Luigi Lavazza in Turin, the company pioneered the art of coffee blending — a technique that turned inconsistent single-origin beans into balanced, repeatable flavour profiles. Luigi Lavazza was also the first to use oil-proof Pergamin paper for packaging, preserving aroma far longer than competitors of the time.
Still family-owned after more than 125 years, Lavazza operates in over 90 countries with around 3,800 employees. The company covers the full spectrum from whole beans and ground coffee to proprietary capsule systems. At Espressa, we carry the complete Lavazza range — from classic Crema e Gusto to premium single-origin selections.
