The Seefahrer|Seehallen blend is the perfect harmony of a fine yet strong coffee. This is due to the top-quality Arabica beans, whose taste is fully developed by the patient hand of the master roasters. The coffee that bears the name of the roasting manufactory is also Onesto's calling card. This means that the highland beans are doubly certified, both organic and Fairtrade. Onesto also wants to pay the coffee farmers top prices for this top-quality coffee. To achieve this, Onesto waives a large part of the margin and passes it on to the coffee farms. The Seefahrer|Seehallen blend is ideal for all coffees such as Café Creme, Latte Macchiato, Long Blacks or Americano. The balanced composition of the beans from Honduras, Peru and Colombia results in a very strong aroma.

About Onesto

Onesto — Italian for "honest" — was founded in 2017 by Fox Hardegger and his wife Anh in Switzerland. Artisan Roasters AG has been roasting exclusively Fairtrade- and organic-certified coffee since 2018, initially at the Seehallen in Horgen on Lake Zurich, and since moving to its larger roasting hall in Wädenswil. The coffee is roasted using the traditional drum method — slowly and gently, powered by biogas and green electricity. The transparent roastery is open 365 days a year, inviting coffee lovers to experience the process first-hand. The beans are sourced through long-term partnerships with cooperatives and family farms in Honduras, Peru, Colombia and Tanzania. In 2022, founder Fox Hardegger was awarded the Fairtrade Award of Switzerland in the "Newcomer Innovation" category.

Since its founding, Onesto has increased its revenue sevenfold. The range — from the full-bodied Kapitäns Mischung (Captain's Blend) to the fruity single origin Sturmwarnung (Storm Warning) to compostable ESE coffee pods — follows a maritime branding theme inspired by the original lakeside location. All packaging is compostable and eco-friendly. At Espressa, we offer Onesto coffee beans and ESE pods for espresso lovers who value quality and sustainability.
