Product description
Lavazza Super Crema embodies the Italian espresso tradition from Piedmont and combines carefully selected Arabica and Robusta beans from five continents into a balanced coffee blend for daily enjoyment.
The aroma profile shows a harmonious balance with pronounced notes of roasted hazelnuts and brown sugar, accompanied by subtle honey aromas. The medium body develops a velvety texture with low acidity and a pleasantly nutty aftertaste, which gains warm, malty depth through traditional drum roasting.
The composition of 60% Arabica beans from Brazil and Colombia as well as 40% washed Robusta beans from Vietnam, Indonesia and India is medium-light roasted and achieves a medium intensity level, suitable for both espresso and milk-based drinks.
For optimal preparation, we recommend 7-9 grams per espresso with an extraction time of 25-30 seconds. The creamy base is excellent for cappuccino and latte macchiato, while a short espresso brings out the nutty aromas particularly well.
The 1kg pack of Lavazza Super Crema coffee beans is ideal for fully automatic coffee machines and espresso machines and is delivered by espressa.ch as a Swiss coffee specialist with the usual quality guarantee.
About Lavazza
Lavazza has shaped Italian coffee culture like no other brand. Founded in 1895 by Luigi Lavazza in Turin, the company pioneered the art of coffee blending — a technique that turned inconsistent single-origin beans into balanced, repeatable flavour profiles. Luigi Lavazza was also the first to use oil-proof Pergamin paper for packaging, preserving aroma far longer than competitors of the time.
Still family-owned after more than 125 years, Lavazza operates in over 90 countries with around 3,800 employees. The company covers the full spectrum from whole beans and ground coffee to proprietary capsule systems. At Espressa, we carry the complete Lavazza range — from classic Crema e Gusto to premium single-origin selections.
